A New Park for West Pilton
A New Park for West Pilton
West Pilton Park is undergoing an exciting, new development after receiving a commitment of significant charitable funding.

We are pleased to announce that the development of West Pilton Park is now in the construction phase.
ELGT have recently completed a procurement process to find the right contractor to deliver the landscape works in the park and the successful bidder was P1 Solutions, an Edinburgh contractor with a history of delivering projects of this size in the Edinburgh area.
P1 will start to mobilise on site in the park on Monday 22nd June, from which date the park will become their site and will be closed to the public. The programme is expected to run until the autumn of 2027. We appreciate the disruption this will cause to regular park users while the park is closed. However, we are confident that the proposed plans for change will be worth the temporary closure measures.
This is an exciting, new development that aims to make West Pilton Park the beautiful, bustling centre of a thriving neighbourhood community.
Closure of the park will have the below red line boundaries:

The Edinburgh and Lothians Greenspace Trust in partnership with City of Edinburgh Council would like to share with you the latest design proposals, to raise awareness of the development and build enthusiasm for the new park plan.
