Inch Park Biodiversity Improvements

Biodiversity improvements

ELGT are working with Friends of Inch Park (FoiP) to deliver a programme of community events to monitor and enhance the Braid Burn river in Inch Park. The aim is to re-naturalise the wetland area and provide a wider range of habitats for wildlife, and meaningful activities the community.

We will provide training opportunities to the local community while carrying out ecological surveying of the riverine and wetland. This data will be used to develop a management plan. Volunteer activity sessions will be facilitated so the community can begin to implement this plan.
