Hermitage of Braid Access Improvements

Improved access and biodiversity of a greenspace

In Autumn 2024 ELGT undertook a project to build a 40m boardwalk along the Braid Burn in the Hermitage of Braid due to erosion. We also improved the biodiversity by creating two wildlife Hibernaculas.  The route is now more accessible making it easier and safer for people to use.
