Burdiehouse Burn Access Improvements

In Autumn 2023 ELGT undertook a project to upgrade the degrading steps in Burdiehouse Burn Valley Park at the bothy. This involved the removal of all 50 existing steps and then reinstating with a new, wider pathway. The new path is wider, more accessible and has more steps, making it easier and safer for people to use. As a finishing touch bulbs have been planted up the banks post construction.
