The Trust run regular programmes of free environmental workshops, community events and activities.

The Trust has been delivering inclusive environmental workshops across Edinburgh and the Lothians since 2001, engaging with communities and promoting environmental education.

Research shows that people, particularly those living in urban areas, lack access to environmental education opportunities in outdoor settings and woodlands.

Free environmental workshops gives the opportunity to improve knowledge and understanding of the environment, in an approachable and enjoyable format, and will help people to feel more confident in accessing their local woodland environment and encourage positive usage.
