Woodland Activities

We have been working with a number of local communities throughout the City in areas of deprivation to encourage groups and families to explore their local woodlands, to help improve mental and physical wellbeing and promote use of our local greenspaces.  The programme involves a variety of woodland activites including bat walks, tree & bulb planting, crown lifting, woodland thinning and bush crafts.

We'd like to thank our funders, Forestry Commission Scotland and Scottish Natural Heritage for supporting this work.

But most of all we'd like to thank all the wonderful people who came out with us in all kinds of weather - as you can see, it wasn't always sunny!
