Biodiversity Education Pack

'Biodiversity: The Variety of Life!' is an educational resource pack aimed at Primary 4 which explains what biodiversity is, and why good biodiversity is important.

This resource pack ties directly in with the Scottish Government’s ‘Curriculum for Excellence’, and contains material for teaching children about biodiversity, including information specific to Edinburgh & the Lothians, activity ideas, and other fun ways to get out of the classroom and reinforce biodiversity messages.

This pack may be of use if your school is considering exploring the ‘biodiversity’ or ‘school grounds’ topics when working towards gaining an Eco-School award.
